RealPeople @ Mosaic is a vocational service for people with disabilities. We run a comprehensive term programme ,offering a range of courses oriented to the needs and requirements of our students. Mosaics point of difference is our focus on creative and artistic pursuits in combination with our vocational programme. We aim to provide opportunities for students to build self confidence, while encouraging personal development and skill acquisition.

We are a subsidiary of Presbyterian Support East Coast and we are funded by MSD (Ministry of Social Development) and TEC (Tertiary Education Commission). We rely heavily on donations and events to provide our services.

Our centre is situated in Taradale, Napier and is completely disability friendly. Our Mosaic on the front of our wall has become an iconic piece of community art work. Visitors are welcome to visit!

Enrolment Criteria

E-mail Print PDF

Historically, RealPeople @ Mosaic has provided a service for people with physical disabilities. This group makes up approximately half of our client base. Although working with people who have a physical disability is our target group, we will not exclude a student based on that criteria alone. Enquiries are welcome from other clients whose primary disability may not be a physical one. Please bear in mind that our funding Is Ministry of Social Development and we have no Health funding. Where places are available an enrolment may be made at the discretion of the manager. Positions are very limited at present and your application may only get you on the waiting list at this time.
