A selection of Blair's graphic works In many ways a classic "Outsider" Artist, Blair is unconcerned with his artworks other than the enjoyment of creating them and the pleasure that a viewer gets when sharing them. Blair is a prolific artist who creates original and fresh works using a variety of techniques and mediums with a special ability in drawing. When asked what drives him as an artist Blair simply replies, “Because I enjoy it and it is good fun”. A strong focus on colour and symbols to build up layers in his work provides a quirky freshness that can't be missed for the art enthusiast. It could be said that his signature is creepy crawlies, “I've done so many bugs!” Replies Blair Enthusiastically. A selection of Blair's bugs, in graphic and colour works. Recent Exhibition History: 2005 Solo exhibition at Mosaic entitled “The Queen of Sheba”. 2005 Exhibited two works at “The Hawke's Bay Review”. 2006 Contributing artist for “The wine Box Auction” at Mosaic. 2007 Contributing Artist for 'The Real Art by Real People' exhibition, Hastings Community Art Centre..
