I'm on my first day at Mosaic today. When I started I felt a bit shy and a bit nervous. I got used to it and excited about it and I was fine.

I got to meet a few of the clients and had lunch here. I had a chat with Heather as she had lunch with me. Then i started the ceramics course with a lady who is Liz Earth. I have started making a few tiles. One is a leaf, one is a square tile with a rainbow cloud, with the sun on it and with the hills on it. The sun will have the colours light blue, white, bright yellow with yellow lines on it. The colours of my leaf will be malted colours as a mixture of green, yellow, red and brown. We had to roll the clay into little coils.

In morning tea time I got to meet the manager.

I will thoroughly enjoy myself here as I like all the staff and the clients here. I will want to do more this year and more every other year.
